General Rules
- The competition is open to all engineering students from any department and year of study.
- Each team must pay a registration fee of ₹300 and upload the payment proof in the Project Media section under the Project Details tab.
- Teams may consist of up to 3 members.
- Each participant can be a member of only one team.
- The theme of the Ideathon is The Multiverse of Innovation, focusing on engineering-driven solutions that create a real-world impact.
- Teams must select one track from the following categories:
- Environment & Sustainability
- Smart Living
- Smart Manufacturing
- Health & Wellness
- All submissions must be made in English.
- Plagiarism or copied content will result in immediate disqualification.
Code of Conduct
To ensure a safe, respectful, and collaborative environment throughout Solstice, all participants are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Respect and Inclusivity

Treat all participants, mentors, judges, and organizers with respect and courtesy.

Be inclusive and supportive of individuals regardless of gender, identity, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body type, race, ethnicity, nationality, or religion.

Respect different opinions, ideas, and approaches, constructive discussion is encouraged, but personal attacks are not.
2. Professional Conduct

Maintain academic integrity, no plagiarism, idea theft, or misrepresentation of work.

Do not engage in cheating, fabrication, or falsification of data or results.

Respect all intellectual property rights and cite sources where appropriate.

Avoid using offensive language, discriminatory remarks, or inappropriate humor.
3. Safety and Harassment Policy

Harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:

Offensive verbal comments

Unwelcome sexual attention or physical contact

Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following

Inappropriate photography or recording without consent

Sustained disruption of sessions or events

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior must comply immediately.

Organizers reserve the right to disqualify or remove any participant found violating this policy.
4. Event Integrity

Respect the event schedule, submission deadlines, and judging process.

Do not attempt to influence or pressure judges or organizers.

Use event resources responsibly and report any issues or misconduct to the organizing committee.
5. Digital Etiquette

Maintain professionalism on online platforms, chat groups, and social media related to the event.

Do not share offensive, plagiarized, or misleading content online.

The organizers reserve the right to modify, add, or remove rules at any time if deemed necessary for the fair and smooth conduct of the event.

Any such changes will be communicated promptly to all participants.

Violation Consequences: Any breach of the Code of Conduct or event rules will result in strict disciplinary action, which may include — but is not limited to — immediate disqualification, revocation of awards, or removal from the event premises.
